The Fall Fair is an Executive Board fundraiser entering its 16th year.
(Did you know the idea of holding a Fall Fair was the inspiration of Grace Veino. Grace organized the Craft Table every year since the fair’s inception.)
This event is:
A team event (many hands make light work)
A major financial asset
A major community spirit builder, for Bethany and for the Armdale community
This year the Fall Fair is seeking 2 – 3 new Coordinators, as our previous Coordinators are retiring. If you are a person who likes to organize and enjoys people, then you will be perfect for the job. Coordinating the Fall Fair is much easier than it looks, as all the tables (or little “shops”) are run by their own overseers.
If taking on this post is of interest to you and you would like to learn more specifics as to what the job entails, please contact any of last year’s Coordinators (Cheri Wilson, Sue Bolton or Margie Guy), or David Rackham, Chair of Executive Board. If you do not know these persons let Kevin know, he will guide you to one or all of them. If you need a sounding board as you discern this interest Kevin is also available for that.
We do hope there are a number of people who will consider taking on this role. The event is vital to our church, and brings Bethany considerable vitality. And…it is a wonderful, Spirit-filled, way to meet lots of dedicated, fun and diverse people from our community. What a great way to make new friends.
Second Corinthians 9:7 “Each one must give as they have decided in their heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.”
