Your donation to the life and ministry of Bethany United Church is deeply appreciated. Here at the church we offer a range of ministries that reach thousands of people. Our Minister of Music, Shawn Whynot, is well-known in the community for the way he mentors children in song, for the large senior choir he shepherds every week, for the special music he designs and produces every year. Our Ministers of Children and Youth are exceptional! Justin and Louisa offer warm, creative and stimulating weekly activities. Our senior's work is exceptional, the weekly gathering on Tuesday with lunch and guest speaker is well attended and our Minister of Visitation gets out to see many isolated people. Our Lead Minister Kevin Little is well known throughout Halifax spreading a message of hope to everyone he meets. Bethany is here to serve.

There are three ways to donate to Bethany United Church.

1. Sunday Offering

Simply place your gift in the offering plate during Sunday Service. Please make cheques payable to Bethany United Church. If you prefer your gift to be directed to a particular Ministry, please indicate on your cheque or envelope.

2. PAR – Pre-Authorized Remittance

PAR stands for Pre-Authorized Remittance. Many people use the PAR system for their church offering. This sets up a monthly debit to your account in the amount that you choose. It is a very convenient way to maintain your offerings to the church, even when you can’t always be there.

To sign up, simply complete the PAR form and attach a void check. This can be brought to the church office throughout the week or dropped in the offering plate during Sunday service.

Tax receipts will be provided for your gift.

3. Donate through CanadaHelps

CanadaHelps is a registered charity with a goal to make it easier to donate online. You can choose to give once, give monthly, or donate a security or mutual fund, with the option to include instructions for which of our ministries you would like your gift to go to. You can make a donation in remembrance of a loved one, or on behalf of a special person. Once your donation is processed, you will receive a confirmation and a tax receipt by email.
